Ford Mustang Mach 1 (Diamonds Are Forever)
Yet more product placement: the suave, sophisticated and visibly ageing Sean Connery is forced into the ugly-as-hell Mustang Mach 1.
We all know the real Bond would have had more taste, but at least the chase scene almost rivals the Blues Brothers for the number of police cars trashed.
Aston Martin DBS (On Her Majesty's Secret Service)
Fitting for the least successful of all the Bonds, George Lazenby drives one of the most unpopular Astons of all time. So ugly is the DBS that it's even upstaged by a Ford: a gorgeous lipstick-red Mercury Cougar convertible driven by Diana Rigg.
And if that wasn't enough for the poor DBS, it suffers the indignity of hosting the murder scene for Bond's new wife, as she gets assassinated by one of Blofeld's female sidekicks.
