Audi 200 Turbo (The Living Daylights)
Both Audi and Aston paid for their motors to appear in The Living Daylights, but Audi came out ahead by getting the sinister Timothy Dalton to drive not one, but two of its cars.
However, instead of putting Bond behind the wheel of the rally-bred ur-Quattro, Audi made the incomprehensible decision of giving him a dowdy Audi 200 Turbo in which to smuggle double-agent General Koskov across the East-West border.
This blended in a little too convincingly with the bleak Soviet background, destroying all the glamour and excitement of cold war espionage.
Tuk Tuk (Octopussy)
This is the one where James, played by wise-cracking jester Roger Moore, escapes some pursuing hoods on the streets of India in a motorised rickshaw. Yes, a rickshaw.
Luckily for Bond, it's driven by an MI6 agent, who informs 007 that the Tuk Tuk is 'a company taxi' and therefore finely fettled by Q. Cue big wheelies and high-flying stunts as Bond sits helpless in the back, raising plenty of eyebrows. Humiliating.
