Slick Attire VW Campervan T-shirt
Chances are your dad still thinks that he's a bit cool, a bit 'with it'. He knows his designer labels, he wears those band T-shirts - frankly, he's a bit of a dude.
The good news is that being a petrolhead has also become cool, so there are now a number of companies selling motoring apparel - and there's not a touch of tweed in sight.
First off are the T-shirt collections from two related companies, N138 and Slick Attire. Slick Attire has just four designs, depicting a Porsche 917, Ford Mustang, VW Camper and a tribute to the Bentley Boys: all have nice graphics and come printed on a range of T-shirt colours. N138 is named after the French road, a stretch of which forms the Mulsanne Straight on the Le Mans 24 Hr circuit, so there are plenty of Le Mans-related tees, plus designs featuring the likes of the Audi Quattro, Austin Princess (?), Toyota Celica, 911s, etc.

Manifold Driving Appareltakes a similar approach with its tees, including designs based on the Targa Florio, Martini-liveried Delta Integrales, Lotuses, Knockhill race circuit and one celebrating the Green Hell - the Nurburgring Nordschleife. Manifold also has a number of fire retardant items to help dad look cool on that track day.
Our last selection isn't exactly car-related, but it's so cool that we had to include it. Triumph Motorcycles is selling a special edition vintage T-shirt, as worn by Steve McQueen, who is surely every dad's idol. A washed-out black tee, it has the classic Triumph logo on the front, McQueen's autograph on the sleeve and a story print on the inside back. We guarantee that any petrolhead dad will love it.
