The Geneva Motor Show is done and dusted and the 4Car team is now sitting down resting our feet in a very large bowl of hot water. We came, we saw and we took some photos. So with time to reflect, it's fair to ask: what were our favourite cars at Geneva?
With a gamut of new models, design studies and wacky concepts on show choosing a top 10 may be a tricky business but not an impossible one. Our selection features a mix of real-world cars, possibilities for the future and outlandish flights of fancy - all of which make up what makes motor shows so great.
1. Seat Bocanegra
Seat's chief designer, Luc Donckerwolke, told 4Car that the Bocanegra concept is 85% how the new Ibiza will look. If that's true, we can look forward to a gorgeous little supermini.
Described as a three-door sport coupe, the Bocanegra is an evolution of Seat's design DNA and is unmistakably Donckerwolke in its look, with striking lines and a muscularity that has echoes of his work at Lamborghini.
2. Volvo XC60
For years the Volvo XC90 has been a favourite for metropolitan yummy mummies, but the anti 4x4 brigade has put paid to that. Now environmentally-conscious school-running parents will be looking to downsize their Chelsea tractors and Volvo has come up with the perfect solution - the XC60.
A five-seat crossover, this Volvo looks great on the outside and has a practical, functional interior that reeks of all things Scandinavian. There's even a spec that incorporates a light-wood trim that looks like something straight out of a sauna. The Swedes' dedication to safety continues. The XC60 includes a system that applies the brake automatically if it thinks you're heading for a front-end shunt in heavy traffic.
