Concept Car: Toyota MTRC

While production cars dominated Toyota's Geneva stand, the MTRC concept did provide a little light relief. MTRC, for Motor Triathlon Race Car, is a concept aiming to be capable in three different environments. Namely, the race track, offroad and around road race circuits (Monaco, anyone?). On a more serious note, the MTRC is meant to evoke the three strands of Toyota's core brand values of a heritage in four-wheel drive systems, its involvement in motorsports and its drive toward advanced, ecologically sound new technology. That last one is addressed by the MTRC's four hydrogen fuel cell stacks powering each wheel.
