Current estimates suggest that the UK can currently provide around two per cent of its diesel requirements from RME. However, with the right Government-backed incentives, this could grow to as much as 10 percent, and that would mean a saving of about 1.7 million tonnes of fossil-hydrocarbon diesel each year. Let's face it, that has to be worthwhile.
