That would be the Audi TT Coupe Quattro Sport model, which was touted as the lightest, quickest and most driver-focused TT.
Available from May 2005, the1.8-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine had its power increased to 240 bhp with more torque. To save weight, both the rear seat and spare wheel were removed, and a stability bar was added where the parcel shelf used to be. This meant a 0-62mph time of just 5.9 secs and 155mph maximum speed.
You could tell it apart from the standard TT because of the two-tone paint finish with Phantom Black colour for the roof, pillars and mirrors with the option of Mauritius Blue, Misano Red, Avus Silver or Phantom Black paint work for the remainder of the body. It was beefed up by the bodykit from the 3.2 quattro models, plus exclusive 15-spoke alloy wheels that had slightly wider rims at the back.
The Sport also got a lot of 3.2 upgrades, including the brakes and suspension system. Inside, you felt a tad more special, courtesy of the Recaro bucket seats upholstered in leather and Alcantara trim for the steering wheel, gear knob and handbrake grip.
