Although Rolls-Royce would sell a Phantom to anybody with sufficient funds - oddly, there wasn't much of a queue - the Park Ward Landaulette was for royalty and heads of state only. The Queen Mother has had one, as have various Arab royals, and The Queen has had two. The first, Canberra, was delivered in 1960 and had a special raised roofline which featured a large perspex panel over the rear seating area, the better to see her waving. A second car, also in the Canberra style, was delivered (months late due to strikes) as a present from the SMMT for her Silver Jubilee in 1977. These cars are still in use.
