Had you forgotten about the Forfour? Smart's supermini has not exactly been a best-seller, but its underperformance is only limited to its sales figures.
The Brabus SBR version is the quickest Forfour yet and the first with over 200bhp. Wound up to 210bhp, it can accelerate 0-60mph in 6.4 seconds and it's good for 140mph. It should be a sportier drive, too, with a shorter-throw gear lever and a variable-locking differential to improve traction.
With a graphite grey matt exterior finish to its bodypanels and structural elements, it has contrast-colour door mirrors, polished alloy wheels and leather/Alcantara trim with orange seams to mark it out from the mainstream Forfours. It'll be offered in a limited edition; prices and UK availability have not yet been confirmed.
Less powerful Brabus Xclusive models are also on display in Geneva, alongside the continuing Forfour Brabus. Both these versions have the 177bhp engine and 17" alloys, but the Xclusive adds a full leather interior with sports seats, plus a front spoiler and side skirts. Buyers can choose from silver or black paintwork, and prices start from €25,350, with the standard Forfour Brabus from €21,950.
