Daihatsu launched its new-generation Terios compact SUV at the Geneva Motor Show.
Larger and roomier than before, it will keep its small, economical engine in the shape of a 1.5-litre unit. The new Terios is the European version of the Be-Go already on sale in Japan and its sister model, the Toyota Rush.
Daihatsu says that the Terios has 'excellent handling', thanks to a tight turning circle, and a 'comfortable ride'; it will have full-time four-wheel-drive with a mechanical centre-locking differential.
