The Japanese seem to love a bit of retro kitsch - how else could you explain the Mini-lookalike Daihatsu Mira Gino, the Mitsuoka Viewt or, indeed, the Nissan Figaro? - and the Suzuki LC hits all the right buttons for cutesy nostalgia.
"Its charmingly styled body, mirrors, switches, and seats are all signs of a fun-loving personality", says Suzuki, which insists that it's "friendly" and "ready to put a smile on your face." We leave you to make your own mind up.
Of course, underneath that surface are all the underpinnings of Suzuki's contemporary city cars, so it would be like running a classic without any of the reliability worries.
