We've already had an extensive preview of the Passat - complete with a long and involved presentation by a so-called trend forecaster and lifestyles expert - but it's now the star turn for in Geneva. Roomier, with an ever-more upmarket cabin, it's aimed at comfort-loving types with a nesting instinct, apparently, though it also promises to be pretty good to drive. Also on the Volkswagen stand is the new Bora saloon (based on the MK5 Golf), as seen in the States earlier this year, but the unveiling of the revised Polo range has been saved for the Leipzig Motor Show later this spring.
