The Dune's exterior styling includes elements such as a colour-coordinated front spoiler with integrated fog lights, plus bumpers, running boards and wheel arches. Wing mirrors are a matt silver, matching the roof rails and the central air vent in the front spoiler.
UK versions will come with a choice of four colours - Flash Red, Black Magic, Ravenna Blue and Reflex Silver - eschewing the continental options of Lime and Magma Orange. Not opting for the orange could well be a mistake - after all, thanks to the Focus ST, orange is the new black...
For that sporty 4x4 look, the Dune has 15mm more ground clearance (a chassis option for non-Dune Polos in some European markets). This, combined with the 17" alloys, means the Dune gains 32mm in height overall. Can you notice the difference? Not really, especially when someone with a bit of heft (like myself) gets in. Anyway, all this tots up to £12,645 (1.4 petrol) and £13,495 (1.4 TDI diesel).
