Let's face it: when it comes to driving, we Brits are the yobs of Europe.
We're the continent's biggest buyers of hot hatches and special editions of the M and AMG ilk. And even when someone like Smart builds a hotted-up Fortwo city car, we're the first in line with the cash in our sweaty palms, looking for thrills.
And after buying more of the last-generation Fortwo Brabus than any other country, Smart's parent company Daimler must be laughing up its sleeve at the thought of launching a new one in the UK. Especially as it starts at £13,520 for the coupe and an astonishing £15,470 for the cabriolet.
But, putting the price aside for the moment, does the new Smart Fortwo Brabus work as the city-dwelling thrill-seeker's ride of choice?
