The FSI also features new choices of alloy wheel design and comes in new colours and trim combinations, some more tasteful than others - all of which will be offered on the 2003 A2 1.4 petrol and diesel models too. Its options list is suitably extensive: Audi claims that so far, very few UK A2 buyers have opted for a standard model, choosing to spend an average of around £20,000 in total - a significant supplementing of specification, given that the A2's list prices range between £13,095 and £16,055. Although final pricing has yet to be confirmed, Audi UK reckons the 1.6 FSI will cost a premium of £1100 over the 1.4 petrol model. With the addition of satellite navigation and a TV screen, the full-length 'Open Sky' glass sunroof, automatic air conditioning, full leather upholstery or leather/alcantara sports seats, a sports steering wheel and alloy wheels up to 17 inches in diameter, the £25,000 A2 is in sight. To make spending more on your A2 even easier, Audi is offering a couple of options packages: the Style Package, comprising 15-inch six-spoke alloys, remote control central locking, leather trim for the steering wheel, gear lever and handbrake grip, and height adjustment for the front seats, Style Package Plus, adding 17-inch nine-spoke alloys, the Advance Package, including metallic paint and automatic air conditioning and the High Tech package, with the Open Sky sunroof, parking sensors and mobile phone compatibility kit. A Sport model, with the 17-inch wheels, the leather/alcantara sports seats and a sports steering wheel, is also in the pipeline.
