Citroen used to build quirky, yet beautiful cars: the armadillo-shaped Citroen DS, the Maserati-engined SM, the legendary 2CV and the equally odd Diane. In the 90s, though, Citroen lost its mojo.
For the past few years it has been building run-of-the-mill cars and, looking at the current 'C' line-up, it's hard to get excited. The Citroen C1, C2, C3, C4 and C5 are ok, but hardly radical. Only the boat-like C6 points to Citroen's out-of-the-ordinary past.
