It shares a lot of kit with the Porsche Cayenne, but despite being slowerm, it is still very quick for a big 4x4, is well finished and, because of the VW badgework, significantly cheaper. When you have to go off-road it is very able indeed and there's tons of room for everyone inside.
Not a lot. Most have been under VW warranty anyway and it is just the usual electrical upsets that are annoying rather than terminal.
Specialist 4x4 dealers have the best-value examples, as many private sellers often overprice theirs. Most are still at VW dealers, but you should get the best examples.
