
It's a versatile 4x4 with all the attributes that most buyers really need. Even a shower and fridge were options on some models... Think of the CR-V as an estate car with attitude that drives well and boasts Honda's utter reliability. One of the largest interiors in its class.
Not much to check unless the CR-V looks like it's led a hard kids/dogs/caravanning-type life. Dodgy immobilisers have been reported and suspension may have worn if it was used for towing. There was a hugely improved model from 2001 and again from 2004.
Never a lot around, but Honda Approved is an excellent scheme. Otherwise it is caring private owners.
