Pure and simple is the best description, plus the Smart is nothing less than distinctive. Selling new Smarts has been a problem, so used prices have become very friendly indeed and so much cheaper than an MX5. This is the best way into a nearly-new open-top funster that is great to drive.
Everything should have been caught under warranty. Just some bits of interior trim falling off, but the mechanical bits are well proven.
Smart dealers have loads and sell them at realistic prices, compared to private sellers who are trying to get some of their money back.
