Why buy one?

There are thousands to choose from, which is a good thing. It keeps prices down for what is one of the most stress-free cars to own. On long journeys, everyone should be comfy and happy, with excellent levels of standard equipment and a wonderfully smooth ride.

What to look for

Not a huge amount. Niggly electrical faults are common but not serious. Very high mile examples will need fettling of the brakes and suspension. Service intervals are up to 20K miles and caution is needed if problems have been neglected to become serious issues.

Where to buy

Auctions are full of them and a good place to buy both low- and high-mile examples. Car supermarkets often have low-mile year-old ones, while Vauxhall dealers have the most expensive ones - but they will be covered by their excellent network Q scheme.
