The Skyline R34 model had better turbos and cleverer computers delivering a super-focused driving machine. Inside it is comfy and everyone loves the computer-game type LCD screen on the dash. Supercar for hardly any money.

What to look for

Transmission clonks and knocks when you change gear and turn corners points to expensive four-wheel-drive problems. Refusal to start when cold, or restart when hot suggests electronic gremlins. Lots of blue smoke when accelerating hard indicates a failing turbo.
