Audi's first foray into the super-lucrative posh off-roader market is a good one - the Q7 is a pretty special beast.
Although distantly related to the VW Touareg and Porsche Cayenne, the Q7 still feels like a true Audi. Interior quality is exceptional and seven seats are fitted as standard - for the money, there's very little out there to touch it.
Although designed primarily for the road, the Q7 could tackle some of the rough stuff if it really had to - though not as competently as the Range Rover Sport.
