With the latest Discovery, Land Rover has created a design icon. With its clean and simple lines, the Discovery is faithful to the first generation car while managing a timeless modernity. With a longer wheelbase than before the Disco is now a true seven-seater, too. And those used to the lurch-and-roll of the old Discovery will revel in the new car's agility and composure. For serious mud-pluggers, the Disco's off-road ability has been improved. Even better, Land Rover has put a huge effort into improving the quality and reliability of the Disco, which was a real issue with the old car. The only real downside to this very heavy off-roader is the resultant high fuel consumption.
