The Aston Martin V8 Vantage is quite sensational. Weighing some 200kg less than the DB9 and packing a 380bhp V8, the Vantage has the same power-to-weight ratio as big brother, but is nimbler thanks to a shorter wheelbase and an engine mounted behind the front axle.
It is also, arguably, the best looking Aston ever conceived. And with an engine that is as soulful (and tuneful) as Ferrari's best, this is about as desirable as any car gets - the roadster even more so.
