This is the closest thing to a full-house GT racing car experience that's available to mere mortals. Fabulous to look at and even better to drive, the F430 deploys its 490bhp with a savage wail from its 4.3-litre V8. Performance is stellar, with 0-60mph taking just 3.9secs and a top speed in the region of 200mph.
But as intimidating as the figures might be, the F430 is easy to drive and predictable in its responses. In fact, it's even friendlier than the F360 Modena that it replaced, with less of a tendency to unwelcome oversteer. That said, power-sliding is easy to achieve with the beautifully balanced F430.
