Volvo's thoughtful and intelligent design continues inside the XC90, where you'll notice a light, airy interior with a stylish, Scandinavian feel. The XC90's dashboard is set low for a more car-like driving experience, while the broadly adjustable driving position has been commended by customers and media alike for its excellent comfort.
And it's not just the driver who will be cosseted by the XC90 - thoughtful touches abound for all occupants. Each of the seven seats are individual and get a headrest and seat-belt pre-tensioner, while the arm-rest between the front seats can be removed to create more legroom for the centre second-row passenger. This central seat also has an integrated booster cushion for a child and the seat can be moved forward so that a child occupant is closer to the front-seat passenger.
Passengers in the rear can enjoy music in privacy via optional headphone sockets, and 3 different Rear Seat Entertainment Systems with up to 2 screens and 10 DVD players. If the rearmost sixth and seventh seats are not in use they need not take up valuable boot space: they simply and easily fold flat into the boot floor.
