Thanks to its estate car like proportions, the XC70 is a tremendously practical and flexible vehicle. Inside its well designed interior, which features simple Scandinavian styling and an ergonomically designed dashboard, there's ample room for five adults, with the option of two further rear-facing seats in the load area.

And because the XC70 is a Volvo, it has all the interior practicalities you might expect: up to 1641-litres of luggage space, an optional 40/20/40 split rear seat, a shopping bag holder in the boot and the option of other novelties, such as an integrated cool box, or the Family Pack, which includes dual rear cupholders and a foldable table.

The generous standard equipment list includes leather upholstery, alarm with immobiliser, Electronic Climate Control and a High Performance 225 W nine-speaker audio system with in-dash six CD autochanger and Dolby Pro Logic II Surround Sound.
