Volvo is offering the UK's amateur golfers the chance to play some of the most famous golf courses in the country and win fabulous prizes, thanks to two new competitions on its virtual golf club website.
The first, Volvo Fantasy Golf, is free to play and offers one lucky winner a week's holiday for two at a golf and spa resort in Mauritius, while second place wins a two-day UK golf break, and there's a four-ball at Wentworth for the third placed competitor. There are also monthly prizes for the best team managers. The game is based around European Tour and key golf events this summer. Pick five of Europe's top tour golfers, or pick a lucky dip team.
The second competition is this year's Volvo Golf Club Series, which takes place at 10 top UK golf courses. Starting on May 12, the competition is open to all amateur golfers and offers the chance to walk some of golf's most famous fairways. The winner and runner-up at each event qualifies for an expense-paid trip to the national final at Wentworth on October 12-13, with an ultimate prize of playing at the World Final at Sotogrande, near Valderrama, Spain, on 26-30 October.
