In addition to safety, care of the environment has become one of Volvo's core brand values during the past few decades. As with all of Volvo's models, the C30 will prove to be one of the least environmentally harmful models among its competitors. From wherever possible, the Volvo C30 will be made of recycled materials, while as many plastic parts as possible will be marked so that they can be recycled in future.

Volvo is also very clear about the environmental impact of its products - it was among the first manufacturers to use tools to evaluate the impact of its products and publishes EPI (Environmental Priority Information) on its website at www.volvocars.com/epi. No wonder, then, that each new Volvo is backed by an environmental declaration from Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance Limited (LQRA) of London.
