Nominees
ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ
Toyota Corolla - 1968   A true world car; introduced in 1968, the Corolla is now in its ninth generation, and it overtook the Beetle as the world's best-selling car ever in 1998. Not the most exciting buy, but one of the most dependable.
Toyota Land Cruiser - current   Like the Nissan Patrol, this huge, tough, reliable offroader has long been the choice of aid agencies and warlords alike in demanding conditions and remote regions.
Toyota Prius - current   A 'green' breakthrough, the Prius is the first hybrid petrol/electric engine car to achieve real volume sales success. Now in its second generation, it's a geniune, real-world alternative to a 'normal' family car.
Trabant - 1950   The Trabant put communist-era Eastern Bloc residents on wheels, as big a revolution behind the Iron Curtain as the VW Beetle was for their western cousins. Several versions were made, but the famous P600 (plastic body, 600cc two-stroke) 'Trabbie' was made for 30 years unchanged.
TVR T400 R - current   Its performance is quite literally terrifying, with 440bhp on tap and a lightweight fibreglass body. And we ask you, is there a more amazing looking car?
