Getting eye make-up to stay in place is the bane of many women's lives - especially if their eyelids are prone to becoming
oily. If this is the case, avoid eye cream on the lids in the morning - just apply it at night.
The key to making sure eye make-up stays put all day is to apply a base on the eyelids. Jamie Coombes from Dior swears by "the finest veil of oil-free foundation" over the entire upper lid and eye area before applying powder shadows. After applying foundation to your face, lightly brush the remaining excess over your eyelids. Vanesa Guallar, make-up artist for 17 at Boots, advises using a flesh-coloured powder eyeshadow as a base for the eye area.
