Make-up artist Lauren Dunn shows you how to apply bronzer in this exclusive make-up video.

"If your skin is less than perfect, opt for a matte bronzer rather than a pearly one so that it doesn't highlight imperfections.

Before you apply bronzer, make sure the skin is dried off with loose translucent powder. This will stop the bronzer from gripping to moisture on the skin, which can make it look patchy and dark.

I like a large brush for bronzer (like my LY07 Super Powder brush) as it distributes the product evenly over the face. Use the brush to pick up a small amount of bronzer. Knock off the excess and then sweep gently over the face for a natural glow.

A heavy make-up look is difficult to maintain in hot weather, so I use lighter formulas in the summer - try a tinted moisturiser or a liquid foundation under your bronzer, rather than a cream foundation."
