A curry's just not the same without a hunk of naan on the side. Eleanor's Come Dine With Me Southampton guests got their dip on with this bit o' bread
1. Mix the flour and salt in a bowl. Make a well in the middle. Mix the milk, butter and yogurt. Pour into the flour. Sprinkle the sugar and yeast over the milk mixture. Leave to stand for 10 minutes.
2. Beat until smooth. Add more flour if needed so the dough doesn't stick to the bowl. Turn onto a floured board and form into a ball.
3. Knead the dough for 5 minutes, adding more flour if needed so it stays smooth. Place in a large, lightly oiled bowl. Cover with lightly buttered greaseproof paper and a tea towel. Leave to rise for about an hour in warm place until it has doubled in size.
4. Sprinkle over the black onion seeds, cumin seeds, coriander seeds, chopped garlic and coriander. Turn through the dough a couple of times then tip onto a board and knead for 1 minute.
5. Divide the dough into 4 portions. Shape each into a ball. Put on a tray, cover and leave to rest for 15 minutes. Preheat the oven to 240°C.
6. Shape one ball at a time, keep remaining balls covered. Roll out on a lightly floured surface into a circle roughly 1cm thick. Brush the dough with melted butter and place on a baking sheet brushed with cold water. Continue making the other naans, dividing between 2 baking sheets.
7. Bake for 5 - 6 minutes or until puffed up and golden brown. Wrap in clean tea towels for 5 minutes after cooking.
